I am a visiting scientist in the group of Nick Goldman at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI). I am supported by an advanced researcher fellowship from the Swiss National Science Foundation. My secondary affiliations are: research associate in Gaston Gonnet's group, ETH Zurich; member of Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics; affiliated teaching staff at Cambridge Computational Biology Institute, University of Cambridge.
I did my first degree in Biology and my PhD in Computer Science under the supervision of Gaston Gonnet, both at ETH Zurich. In between, I did half-year stints at Northwestern University (Evanston, USA), Tsinghua University (Beijing, China), and at Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok, Thailand).
